About Us

Bridal Traditions, locally owned by Kelly Shumate, is located in North Park Centre in North Wilkesboro, NC. Since being established in April of 2000, the store has changed locations twice to better accommodate a growing business. It has been operating at its current location since June of 2005.

Kelly is a certified wedding consultant, but says her best training has been the personal experience of working with different brides and their families over the years. "The cookie cutter wedding no longer exist, every couple is unique, so we have to handle each wedding differently."
