FAQ

Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: No. We primarily work with walk-in customers, however under special circumstances we can schedule appointments for before or after hours.  Please remember that during peak seasons we can be very busy, but we will keep your wait as short as possible.

A: No.  All of our merchandise is new, we do not sell or consign any used garments.

A: Gowns and accessories are available to purchase "as is" off the rack, or current styles can be special ordered in different sizes and colors to suit your needs.  These garments are cut and prepared to the manufacturer's delivery schedule, which can range from 10wks to 15wks weeks for standard delivery.  Rush cuts are available for an additional fee imposed by the manufacturers, this fee does not include express shipping charges.  Delivery times on rush cuts vary for each manufacturer.  Please remember that "special order" does not mean "custom order" and may require alterations at an additional cost.

A: A 25% to 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of your order. The balance is due within 14 business days of you being notified that your order has arrived.

Q: Do you have a payment plan or lay-a-way?
A. Yes.  Bridal gowns will be held in lay-a-way for up to 6 months with a 25% non-refundable deposit and payments made once every 30 days.  Prom and special occasion dresses can be held in lay-a-way for 60 days with a 50% non-refundable deposit.  Any garment not picked up by the due date will be returned to stock and any deposits or payments made up until that date will be forfeited.  Payments for special orders may be made while the order is being processed and are non-refundable.

A: All sales are final.  This final sale policy is consistent with the industry standard for bridal and special occasion apparel.

A: We will take your measurements and then compare those to the size chart provide by the manufacturer to determine the correct size.  Please note that formal wear is cut small so you may need a larger size than your normal clothes.  Also, this is not a made-to-measure order, so alterations may be required.

Q: Do you provide alterations?
A: Yes.  We do provide on-site alterations at this time, for merchandise purchased at this store.  All fitting appointments are scheduled on Saturday, we recommend that you schedule your first fitting 8 weeks before your big day, sooner if you will be doing bridal portraits.  Remember that you will usually need 2 to 3 fittings for alterations to be complete. The gown must be paid for in full before it can leave the store and alterations can begin.

Q: What about pressing and/or steaming?
A: As part of our service we will provide a complimentary pressing of any gown purchased at our store.  Bridal gowns are pressed/steamed either before bridal portraits or on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday the week of the wedding.
